The Healing Tree is a concept which is original and totally personal.
Q: What is a healing tree?
A: The healing tree is a commissioned acrylic painting which I do to completely reflect a persons soul, family, heart, desires, dreams and anything else that my client would like me to include in the painting.
Q: How does it work?
A: During an informal meeting with my client, I get to know my client and get a feeling for their persona, family life, what colors and designs will inspire and lift them.
Q: How does the tree heal?
A: All colours have different qualities, for example 'green' is associated with nature, growth, harmony and healing.
In my paintings I will chose the colours that I feel are most relevant to my clients and will be most helpful to them.
Q: What does the tree represent?
A: The tree can represent either an individual or a family. For example, a tree's roots represent the family members, the truck is the core of the family, the home, and the leaves are the contributions that each member brings to the family. In the painting above the tree is also protected by a fence and a little robin which is over looking the family.
Q: How will I know what my tree means?
A: With my paintings I include a description of what I have sensed the tree will bring to my client, how it will help, and what its colours stand for.
